Abia Warriors FC have announced the appointment of Imama Amapakabo as their new head coach.

Amapakabo, a former NPFL winner and ex-Super Eagles boss, signed a two-year contract with the club.

This marks Amapakabo’s second tenure with Abia Warriors, having previously managed the team during the 2020/21 season.

The club is hopeful that his return will bolster their performance in the upcoming league season.

Amapakabo won the league with Rangers in 2016.
