Aliu hails Amusan despite falling short in World Athletics Championship final

Former Nigeria’s Athlete Deji Aliu has hailed 100m Hurdles World record holder Tobi Amusan despite coming short of expectation in the final of the Women’s 100m Hurdles event at the ongoing World Athletics Championship in Budapest, Hungary finishing a distant 6th at a time of 12.62s seconds which represented another drop in time from her semi final time of 12.56s having already done 12.51s in the heat all falling below her Season and Personal best.

Aliu speaking in a chat with brila.net said it was always going to be difficult having Tobi Amusan perform at her optimal level because of the effects of the Athletics Integrity Unit’s provisional suspension handed to her psychologically and physically.
He said having come this far to competing with the very best up until the final of the World Athletics Championship 100m Hurdles deserves commendation.
