Al-Ahli Set to Abandon Osimhen Deal as Napoli Demands More Money
81
Al-Ahli may back out of their deal to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli after the Italian club demanded additional add-ons.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Napoli had initially reached an agreement with the Saudi Arabian club.
The Nigerian striker was set to join Al-Ahli for €80 million after terms were agreed upon.
However, as reported by Di Marzio, Napoli’s request for an additional €5 million has frustrated Al-Ahli, prompting the Saudi club to shift their attention to Brentford’s Ivan Toney.
Sources close to the English striker are confident that the deal could be finalized today.
Meanwhile, Chelsea remains interested in Osimhen. Sky Italia reports that Chelsea’s directors are currently in Naples, but the Forward will only move to the club if they can meet his wage demands.
