Akwa United will appoint Fatai Osho as their new head coach, according to reports.
The management of the Promise Keepers aren’t satisfied with the performance of the current boss Deji Ayeni and will be allowed to leave st the end of his contract.
Ayeni’s deal will come to an end at the end of June and the club has moved quickly to agree a deal with Fatai Osho.
Osho recently left his role as assistant coach of Rivers United, after helping the club to CAF Confederations Cup qualification last season.
He helped the Pride of Rivers win the 2021-2022 Nigeria Premier League title.
Osho also had a spell as the head coach of Remo Stars of Ikenne and nine time Nigerian Champions Enyimba of Aba.
