Nigerian Champions Akwa United has denied reports linking the club with Wikki Tourists manager Kabir Dogo.
Media reports on Wednesday claimed that the Promise Keepers are interested in hiring the former Lobi Stars and Sunshine Stars tactician as a permanent replacement for departed Kennedy Boboye.
When contacted by brila.net, the Club’s media manager Mfon Patrick denied the reports and disclosed that, revealed the management are not looking into that direction at the moment.
“In football speculation is allowed, but I can tell you that, we are not going into that direction at the moment.”
“Coach Ali Jolomi has managed five games and he won three, drew one and lost one, so that’s not bad.”

Jolomi assisted coach Kennedy Boboye during his time at the club. The soft spoken manager has steadied the ship since coming on board.
