Akwa United are determined to add a silverware to their collection and this season will prioritize the NPFL title.

Currently top of group B in the NPFL, Akwa United have almost booked their spot in the final 6 and club Chairman, Paul Bassey, insists the team will receive every motivation to continue their “impressive” run of form.

‘ We have won the Cup twice, to win that time will mean something to us, but the celebrations might not be really colorful, but the league title, on the other hand, will change everything.

‘ We owe it to the fans and the people of the state to finally win the  league.’
