Akwa United gaffer, Rafael Everton has told www.brila.net that deep understanding of his tactics by the players is the secret of the goals haul recorded so far.
Everton, speaking after his side’s 4-0 demolition of Kada City FC in a matchday 8 fixture noted that his boys could have even scored more goals if they took their chances.
“I’m very happy that the players are starting to understand fast. It is not entirely the formation that changed the game rather it changed the player’s mindset and approach. Now it’s easier for them to score goals.”
Akwa United are currently 4th on the NPFL Group B table, 4 points behind leaders, FC Ifeanyi Ubah.
