Nigerian striker Chuba Akpom was the hero again as his goals earned troubled Ajax Amsterdam another win against Herenveen on Sunday.
Chuba Akpom, stood out in the match despite not being in the starting lineup once again.
Ajax was in the lead with goals from Bergwijn and Brobbey just before halftime.
Luuk Brouwers managed to reduce Herenveen’s tally in the 73rd minute of the game.
Akpom was subbed in and quickly scored the third goal for in the 84th minute.
He then put the game to bed by scoring his second goal and Ajax’s fourth in the 92nd minute.
Akpom has now scored a total of 3 goals in the last two matches, including his goal against Volendam earlier in the week.
