Ahead of this weekend’s Andalusian derby, Akor Adams has stated that Sevilla FC are fully focused on securing victory.
The striker emphasized the team’s determination to fight and give their best to avoid defeat in what is one of Spanish football’s most intense rivalries.
“I think we will fight, give our best and make sure we don’t lose against them which is in the derby.
“The result isn’t the problem but the consistency. We can win a game but it’s to win the next one. In a league like La Liga if you look at the log everything is very close.
“If you can win consistently in three games or four games you will have a completely different outlook on the table. We are working hard every day.
“The coach is the best we can have, he is the best for us. For me it is the consistency for us to produce the same result this weekend, win.”
Sevilla will face rivals Real Betis this Sunday.

The Rojiblancos currently sits 12th on the La Liga table with 29 points, six points outside of European qualification places.
A victory against fifth placed Real Betis, who have accumulated 42 points, would not only hand Sevilla local bragging rights but also provide significant momentum in their push to close the gap on the European spots.
