Plateau United goalkeeper, Dele Ajiboye has stated that the team needs to win the Aiteo competition to console their fans after a poor performance in the just concluded NPFL league. 

Ajiboye said this in an exclusive chat with brila.net in Abuja inside the FIFA goal project pitch where Plateau United defeated Kogi United by 3-0 to qualify for the next round of the competition.

“I am hoping that we can win the Aiteo Cup to appease our fans,  we believe with hard work and prayers definitely, It will be possible ” he said.

Plateau United have been drawn in the round of 16 clashes against Calabar Rovers.
