Rasheedat Ajibade has reassured Nigerians of a victory in today’s match against Lucy.
Ajibade scored an impressive equalizer as the Super Falcons held the Ethiopians to a 1-1 draw at Abebe Bikila Stadium in Addis Ababa.
Both teams will clash for the deciding game at MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, and Ajibade is confident that they can complete the job at home.
She stated, “The spirit in the camp is excellent, and we’re looking forward to victory. We will work very hard from the very first minute because we have no reason to underestimate them.
“They gave us a scare in the first leg. Our objective is to secure a clear win and advance in the competition.”
The winner of the tie on aggregate will face either Cameroon or Uganda in the final round of the Paris 2024 Olympics qualifiers.
