Semi Ajayi was in action for West Bromwich Albion in their Skybet Championship game against Sheffield United on Wednesday.

Ajayi was not included in the starting eleven, but he was introduced towards the end of the game as the Baggies secured a 4-0 win over the Blades at the Hawthorns.

The Super Eagles defender who took the place of Jake Livermore on the pitch is yet to start a game for the Valerien Ismael’s men this season.

Jack Robinson’s own goal in the 26th minute gave West Bromwich Albion a slim advantage going into the halftime break.

Dara O’Shea made it 2 – 0 two minutes into the second half before Alex Mowatt (53rd minute) and Callum Robinson (59th minute) completed the rout.

West Bromwich Albion now leading the table with seven points from three matches played so far.
