Enugu Rangers’ dependable attacking midfielder, Ajani Ibrahim has revealed that the former Nigerian champions are still on course to return to the continent by taking the AITEO Cup serious and winning their remaining Nigerian League fixtures.
Ajani, 28, told brila.net that the target of getting back on the continent is not negotiable and the 5-2 win against Remo Stars at the weekend was just another step towards actualizing their set objectives.
“Now that we out of continental action, we have gone back to the drawing board and we have a target of picking up a continental ticket this season.
We would make sure we don’t lose our outstanding matches so that we can be in course, we also aim to win the Aiteo Cup.”
