Super Eagles defender Ola Aina was on duty for Torino as they entertained Williams Ekong’s Udinese in Tuesday’s Serie A game at the Olimpico di Torino.
Aina started from the bench and was introduced in the 65th minute to help defend his side’s slim advantage.
The former Chelsea youngster helped his side protect their loan goal and has now appeared in 21 league matches for the Walter Mazzari’s men this season.
Torino talisman Andrea Belotti scores the only goal of the gams 16th minute and it was to hand the huge relief going into the next game.
The slim win however brought an end to Torino’s eight games without a win, a run dated back to January (seven defeats, one draw).
On the other hand, the result, however, extended Udinese’s woeful run six defeats and four draws in the last ten matches.
Meanwhile, Super Eagles vice-captain William Troost-Ekong watched from the bench for the entire minutes.
Torino are 14th on the log 31 points, while Udinese occupies 15th on 28 points and are three points above the relegation zone.
