Nigeria’s most capped international player, Ahmed Musa is reportedly on the verge of returning to the NPFL, with Kano Pillars expressing strong interest in re-signing him.
The former Al Nassr winger hinted at a potential comeback during a fan interaction on X on Monday, inviting fans to suggest which club he should join.
Brila.net have been told by sources close to the player that, Musa is likely to rejoin Pillars.
Musa previously played for the former Nigerian League champions in two separate stints, from 2009 to 2011 and again in 2021.
The 31 year-old terminated his contract with Turkish side Sivasspor, last season, and has been without a club since.
He had signed a two-year deal with Sivasspor on a free transfer after leaving Fatih Karagumruk.
Despite his current situation, Musa remains keen on continuing his career in Europe, but he may return to Nigeria until the European transfer window reopens in January.
