Super Eagles goalkeeper trainer Alloy Agu has poured cold water on any form of advantage that the Egyptian National team’s participation in the ongoing FIFA Arab cup may offer the Pharaoh ahead of the Africa cup of nations next year in Cameroon.
Agu speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the most important thing is to have Nigerian players equally active at their respective clubs.
He added that whatever the Egyptian may appear to have gained by virtue of their participation in the ongoing FIFA Arab cup will not matter once Nigerian players aren’t short of game time at this critical period with the countdown to the AFCON now just a month away by estimate.
