Reports have emerged that Turkish giants Fenerbahce are looking to procure the services of Trabzonspor’s talisman Anthony Nwakaeme in January.

Nwakaeme has netted 35goals in 111appearances and added the Turkish Cup to his medal haul since arriving Trabzon for €1.1m from Hapoel Beer Sheva.

Revered in the  Black Sea coast, Nwakaeme’s contract expires at season’s end and will be a target for several clubs.

Earlier in 2020, there were several reports saying Fenerbahce’s sporting director Emre Belözoğlu made contact with Nwakaeme’s agent towards a possible move for his client, who, in turn, asked for more time to consider the offer from the Istanbul club.
