Coach Rafiu Salami-tutored side defeated Togo 38-19 goals in their first match at in Ghana. The Nigerians are favourites for the gold and will take on hosts Ghana in the next game. Meanwhile Team Nigeria were not lucky in the Men’s Volleyball event as they lost their first game to Egypt. Team Nigeria lost 3-1 to the North Africans.
