Enyimba risk getting eliminated from the African Football League, following home a defeat to Wydad Athletic Club on Sunday.
A 1-0 defeat in Uyo, leaves Enyimba with an uphill task heading into the return leg.
The only goal of the match came in the first-half from the penalty spot, and it was put away by Yahya Jabrane.
Enyimba’s coach, Finidi George fielded a strong lineup and dominated the game but the team struggled to convert their chances.
However, the hosts finished the game with ten players, following a red card to Alalibo Somiari, leaving the Nigerian champions in a tough situation.
The reverse fixture in Morocco will hold in Morocco next week.
Winning in Morocco will be crucial for them to reach the semi-finals and continue in the competition, with a prize money of $1 million also on the table.
