Newly signed Rivers united goalkeeper Theophilus Afelokhai has prayed for the speedy return of action in the Nigeria Professional Football League so as to maintain relevance in the scheme of things for possible consideration in the national team.
Afelokhai speaking in a chat with www.brila.net at the wake of the Super Eagles outing in the two international friendlies against Algeria and Tunisia said the games have handed Maduka Okoye and other players opportunities to stay within the radar of the coach of the national team unlike himself and other domestic players who are far from consideration at this time due to prolonged period of inactivity.
