Coach José Santos Peseiro has invited four players from the Nigeria Premier League for next weekend’s 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifying match against Sierra Leone in Monrovia.

Peseiro named Enyimba FC Goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke, Rivers United duo of Victor Sochima and Ebube Duru alongside Bendel Insurance FC midfielder Divine Nwachukwu.

The invitation is a reward for the players’ impressive performance at the ongoing NPFL Championship playoff in Lagos.

Nigeria and Sierra Leone clash at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium in Monrovia on Sunday, June 18.
