Interim head coach, Augustine Eguavoen has named a 23-man squad as the Super Eagles prepares for their final two games in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The team will face Benin Republic on November 14 in Abidjan before taking on Rwanda’s Amavubi on November 18 in Uyo, aiming to conclude the qualifiers with a strong finish.
The Super Eagles will open their training camp on Sunday, November 10, in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, ahead of their crucial qualifying match against Benin Republic.
In a statement released by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Wednesday, familiar faces return to the squad, including fan favorite Victor Osimhen, who missed the last round of games due to a muscle injury.
Also returning are Sadiq Umar and Gabriel Osho, who makes his second appearance after a brief absence from the team.
Notably, Nottingham Forest forward Taiwo Awoniyi is absent from the squad after featuring in October.
Defender Victor Collins from Nasarawa United also earns a new call-up, adding depth to the lineup.
Key players including Ademola Lookman, Wilfred Ndidi, Victor Boniface, Samuel Chukwueze, and William Troost-Ekong retain their spots, adding experience to the roster.

This marks Umar Sadiq’s return to the squad since January, following his departure during the 2023 AFCON due to injury concerns, only to later play for his club shortly after.
