Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo says the Super Eagles must be at their best, as they clash with bitter rival Cameroon in the round of 16 of ongoing African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
The Super Eagles finished second in Group B to set up a mouthwatering clash with the Clarence Seedorf tutored side on Saturday.
However, Ighalo who scored the winner for the Eagles against Burundi, said the Gernot Rohr led three time African Champions are leaving no stone unturned, ahead of the game with the multiple African Cup of Nations winners.
“This is when the work starts cos when you lose now, you’re going out. We’ve been working yesterday, today and tomorrow the work continues.
“We know it’s a different ball game now so you’re going to see everybody with red eyes on that day of the game.”
The Super Eagles must avoid a defeat against the Cameroon‘sIndomitable Lions to remain on course for the fourth African Cup of Nations title.
