Adugbe Makes Quick Impact At Napoli, Grabs Assist On League Debut

Napoli new signing, Olamide Adugbe made her debut in the side’s 3-1 defeat defending champions AS Roma.

Adugbe, who was unveiled last Thursday, came on in the 58th minute with Napoli already down 3-0.

AS Roma’s Manuela Giugliano scored twice, and Canadian Evelyn Veins added a third goal in the first half.

Adugbe helped Napoli by assisting Michela Giordano for their only goal in the 80th minute.

However, the Nigerian midfielder also received a yellow card soon after entering the game.

Napoli is currently in seventh place with three points from four games and will face AC Milan on October 6, 2024.
