Adeshina achieved a new personal best and set a Nigerian national record with a jump of 1.97 meters in the women’s high jump final.

 

 

This impressive feat not only surpassed the Olympic qualification standard but also saw the Athlete attempt a height of 2.00 meters.

Despite her outstanding performance, she finished third, tying with winner Rose Yeboah, who claimed the top spot on countback.
