Former Nigeria international and member of the NFF Technical and development committee Mutiu Adpepoju has stated that he has high hopes for Nigerian Football in 2021 better than the fate that befell the game of Football in Nigeria in the outgone year 2020.
Adepoju speaking in a chat with brila.net said while everything in 2020 cannot be solely blamed on the Covid-19 pandemic, the year is one that he feels Nigerians should look forward to with high hopes and expectation.
“I expect a better 2021 because 2020 with everything that happened affected a lot of things and it affected sports and Football including not having a good result although we cannot put all blames on Corona virus. Let’s just look forward to a better 2021 and that our Football move forward in Nigeria.”
