Super Eagles and Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman has been shortlisted for the Serie A Player of the Month award for November, following an impressive run of form.
The 27-year-old delivered standout performances throughout the month, scoring three goals in just two league matches for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side.
Lookman kicked off November with a brilliant brace in Atalanta’s 3-0 win over Napoli at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.
He then followed it up by netting another goal in a commanding 3-0 victory over Parma last weekend.
So far this season, Lookman has racked up nine goals and five assists in 15 appearances across all competitions, cementing his importance to Atalanta’s attack.
Lookman faces stiff competition for the award from other top performers, including Inter Milan’s Federico Dimarco, Juventus midfielder Khephren Thuram, Napoli defender Alessandro Buongiorno, Fiorentina forward Moise Kean, and Lazio’s Mattia Zaccagni.
With his current form, Lookman stands a strong chance of claiming the accolade and further enhancing his reputation in Italy’s top flight.
