Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman announced his return to Atalanta’s starting lineup with a stunning performance yet again.

He provided an assist and scored the winning goal in his team’s 3-2 victory over Fiorentina at the Gewiss Stadium.

Lookman was handed his first appearance of the season after summer transfer speculation linking him to PSG and Arsenal.

Shortly after, Lookman set up Mateo Retegui for Atalanta’s equalizer with a brilliant cross.

Fiorentina regained the lead through Moise Kean, but Atalanta responded quickly. Charles De Ketelaere’s 45th-minute strike brought the home side level again at 2-2.

Ademola Lookman then delivered the decisive blow on the stroke of halftime, sprinting past three defenders and firing a shot into the bottom left corner, giving Atalanta the lead for the first time in the match.

Fiorentina’s dominated the second half of the game but they struggled to create clear chances.

The match ended 3-2 as Atalanta held firm to secure a win.
