Nigerian striker Elijah Adebayo was on target for Luton Town in their 1-1 draw against Swansea City at Kenilworth Road in the EFL Championship.

After a 4-2 defeat to Norwich City at Carrow Road, Luton returned home determined to bounce back.

Adebayo, who also scored in the loss to Norwich, opened the scoring in the 17th minute, giving Luton an early lead as they dominated the first half. Despite several attempts from Swansea, the hosts held on to their advantage until halftime, thanks to solid goalkeeping.

Swansea eventually found an equalizer in the second half, denying Luton a much-needed win. Adebayo, who was substituted with 20 minutes left, showcased an impressive performance despite the result.

The goal marked Adebayo’s fourth of the season in 19 league appearances, underlining his growing influence in the squad.

During his time on the pitch, the striker recorded four shots, including two on target, and completed all 12 of his attempted passes for a perfect 100% success rate.

He made 25 touches, reflecting his active involvement in Luton’s attacking efforts.

While Adebayo struggled in ground duels, losing all four contested, he excelled in the air, winning his only aerial duel of the match. He also delivered one cross, contributing to Luton’s offensive play.

With this draw, Luton Town remain 18th in the Championship table on 19 points, as they continue to seek consistency in their performances.
