Abia Warriors of Umuahia defender Ozor Chinedu is optimistic his side will get a positive result in their match-day four NPFL clash against Adamawa United at the Pantami stadium in Gombe today.
Abia Warriors will hope to get back to winning ways when they square up against the Justin Madugu tutored side after the Umuahia Warlords shared the spoils with Sunshine Stars in match-day three.
Adamawa Unitedon the other hand are yet to register a win in this season’s Nigeria topflight league having acquired solitary point thus far in three League games.
However, a confident Ozor Chinedu in a chat with brila.net talked up his team’s chances of earning a positive result against the Yola based club.
“It will be a cracker tomorrow(Thursday), we are not going to underrate them as per they are one of the newly promoted side, they got the promotion because they had a solid team.”
“Its not going to be an easy one for sure but we will confront them as if its a ‘world cup final’ and that is to show how important the point is to the team.”
“It was unfortunate we dropped a point against Sunshine Stars on Sunday and we here to reclaim the point and ‘Insha allah’ a song of victory will be heard from our camp”.
This is the first meeting between both sides in the topflight.
