Wikki Tourist FC boss Usman Abdallah has set a new standard and raised the bar for players ahead of the 2020/21 NPFL season stressing that he will be expecting players to come up to achieve his targets of ensuring a successful campaign next season.
Abdallah speaking in a chat with brila.net said he expects the players themselves to also come with a very lofty ambition to succeed which he believes ultimately will help the club achieve its targets.
Abdallah says he won’t want to settle for merely staying afloat the topflight next season.
“You have to have an ambition whenever you play and you must put yourself to that task. You cannot just stay and say let’s survive the league and that’s all. I’m not ready to coach a league like that. You have to come into a club with a target, so in Wikki that’s what we are trying to do.”
