Nigeria’s U17 Women National team Coach, Bankole Olowookere has assured Nigerians they’ll win this year’s FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup trophy.
Speaking during a meeting with the NFF leadership, Olowookere described Wednesday’s semi-final against Colombia as the greatest game of their lives and they’re ready to give everything for their fatherland.
The Flamingos will lock horns with Colombian at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa.
“We know what this means to everyone back home, I can assure you that we are ready to make give our best and make everybody proud.
“We are putting Nigeria first and we will fight to bring the trophy home.”
Winner of the encounter will meet either Spain or Germany in the final of the tournament.
