Super Eagles Head Coach, Jose Peseiro is confident his side will cope well with the absence of some key players when the team faces Algeria later on Tuesday.
The Portuguese manager is without key forwards Victor Osimhen, Sadiq Umar, Emmanuel Dennis, Samuel Chukwueze and Captain Ahmed Musa for the encounter.
The preparations for the game suffered another blow when William Troost-Ekong and Wilfred Ndidi withdrew from the squad and returned to their clubs following hamstring problems.
Speaking ahead of Tuesday’s game, Peseiro said he is unconcerned with the list of injury problems.
“I have confidence in them that they will do well. We have enough quality in our team to cope with the absence of those who are not here,” He said.
The match between Algeria and Nigeria will kick off at 8 pm (Nigeria time).
