Czech club Slavia Praha will want to keep Yira Sor at the club, despite strong interest from former Belgian Jupiler league Champions Racing Genk.
Genk wants to bring the striker to Belgium as a replacement for Cyriel Dessers who left the Limburgers for Serie A outfit Cremonese.
Last season, Sor scored eight goals in all competitions for the Czech champions, in his breakthrough campaign in Europe.
Genk has now contacted Slavia Praha about the availability of the player, with Limburgers’ officials set to fly out for negotiation.
The latest reports however from the Czech Republic claimed the club is not ready to let the player leave this summer s it would be difficult o bring in a replacement.
The former Flying Eagles star was up missing from his club’s match-day squad in the league and it’s unclear if it was as a result of the transfer situation.
