Nwakali happy with bright start to Ponferradina career

Super Eagles midfielder Kelechi Nwakali is happy with the start to life at Spanish side SD Ponferradina.

The midfielder made his debut for the Segunda division side against Cartegena on Monday.

The former Arsenal star saw action for the game and assisted one of the goals as Ponferradina secured a nervy 3-2 victory.

Nwakali later took to social media to celebrate the win.

“The best way to start the season 3 points one assist we move,” the Huesca midfielder star wrote on his Twitter handle.

Nwakali will be hoping to continue his good form when Ponferradina travels to Ibiza, on August 22.
