Super Eagles RB Ola Aina says that individual players in the team have to perform at every level in order to achieve their success.
Nigeria is desperate to win a fourth African Cup of Nations and new gaffer Jose Peseiro vowed to deliver the title when he took over the team.
Aina, while speaking with Planet Sport Football Africa, stated that new gaffer Jose Peseiro can help the team, but warned that only him can’t guarantee success.
“It (appointment of Jose Peseiro) could help but ultimately it’s down us as players to strive and achieve goals.”
Nigeria began the quest for the fourth title with a 2-1 victory over Sierra Leone and a 10-0 trashing of Sao Tome and Principle in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The Super Eagles sit top of the table in group A with six maximum points from two games played.
