Rivers United and home-based Super Eagles goalkeeper Theophilus Afelokhai have expressed confidence in the ability of a Salisu Yusuf led CHAN Eagles team to secure qualification and ultimately perform well at the CHAN after being drawn in a pathway into the second round to await the winner of the first-round tie between Ghana and Benin republic.
Afelokhai who played as a goalkeeper under Salisu told brila.net that Salisu Yusuf have Nigeria what is her best run in the competition en route to a second-place finish in the 16 teams tournament hosted by Morocco in 2018 after having also led Nigeria to the final of the home-based WAFU B cup of nations in 2017.
