Plateau United Coach, Kennedy Boboye is not celebrating his side’s position at the top of the NPFL table just yet as he insists they are a long way from achieving the target for the season.
The Jos based club secured a slim 1-0 win against Nasarawa United at the Rwang Pam Stadium in midweek to consolidate their grip of the top spot in the league.
Plateau United are currently on 48 points, five clear of second placed MFM FC after 26 matches.
However, Boboye does not consider his side the favorite nor does he think they’re running away with the title.
He said the team’s aim is to keep playing well and – importantly – grabbing points in their bid to keep the hopes of winning the league alive.
