Rivers United’s technical adviser Stanley Eguma is happy with the appointment of his assistant Fatai Osho into the Super Eagles Team B and Olympics Eagles technical crew.
Eguma who is the current longest-serving manager in the Nigeria Football Federation believes his assistant and other selected coaches will do a good for the Country.
“Fatai is a good coach, we knew his antecedents right from his days at Remo Stars, I also played against him when he was with Enyimba.
“I brought him to Rivers United and he has been making his contributions like other coaches in the team, I think he has what he takes to succeed in the national team,” he said.
Osho joined Rivers United at the beginning of the 2021-2022 campaign, after leaving his number role at 8-time NPFL Champions Enyimba.
His combination with Eguma propelled the Pride of Rivers to the top of the league standings this season and they are the favorites to win the league.
Aside from coaching Rivers United and Enyimba, Osho also tutored Remo Stars of Ikenne. He guided the team to top-flight level twice before his departure.
