Ex-Leicester City player Steve Wash was full of praises for Kelechi Ihenacho after his mind-blowing performance at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Ihenacho was on target as the Foxes played pick a point against the Raff Ragnick’s men in the Saturday’s Premier League encounter.
The Nigerian scored a beautiful header to give Leicester City the lead, but it was nullified by Fred shortly after the hour mark in Manchester.
James Maddison also had a winning strike disallowed via VAR later on for the Foxes. A 1-1 draw remains an admirable result, however, and makes it five games unbeaten against the Red Devils.
In his reaction, Wash who is works as a pundit for Leicester City TV, praise Ihenacho for showing up in such a big game.
“Iheanacho came into the game in the second half. Showing himself, offering with good link-up play.”
“All of the players worked hard for that one point, it should have been three for me.”- Steve Walsh said after the game.
Kelechi Iheanacho now has four goals and three assists in his ten appearances against Manchester United.
