Ghana’s Coach Otto Addo is ready to start teenager Felix Afena-Gyan in the first leg of the crucial World Cup qualification clashes with Super Eagles.

Reports clamied Gyan became the favorite to start to start the game in Kumasi after Daniel Koffi Kyereh picked up injury in training.

Kyereh’s availability is still uncertain after missing the final training session on Thursday, but he remains in contention for the game.

The St. Pauli midfielder trained with discomfort on Wednesday as his right thigh was strapped with ice.

He is the most in form Ghananian attacker going into the game as he has scored 11 goals and assisted 10 this season for St Pauli his season.

Should he failed to recover for the game, then Gyan who plays for Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma could start the game.

Ghana would be hoping for a comfortable result against the Black Stars at home on Friday, before traveling to Nigeria for the second leg on Tuesday.
