Super Eagles team co-ordinator Patrick Pascal says the players are ready for the World Cup qualification cracker against the Ghana’s Black Stars on Friday.
The Super Eagles will lock horns with their West African brothers for the first leg at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, which is Black Stars fortress.
In addition, The Ghananians are banking on their impressive records against the Super Eagles for the game.
The Black Stars have won 21 games against Nigeria, losing 10, with 18 ending in draw, but Pascal believes the Super Eagles are not interested in past records and to what people are saying.
“Well, you know if you are preparing for this kind of game , you will hear different things , but we don’t want to pay attention to what people are saying. We just want to work more and talkless.
“The good thing for us is that ,Super Eagles players are playing week in week out with their clubs and that means they are ready ,even if the game is today . We are just praying injury free”.
“You can’t remove these talks from this kind of game, but we can’t dwell on that”. He told www.brila.net.
Meanwhile, the Super Eagles will depart Abuja for Kumasi this morning.
