AS Roma’s young forward Felix Afena-Gyan has been included in the Black Stars squad to face Nigeria on Friday and Tuesday respectively.
The 19-year-old Felix Afena-Gyan is among the four forwards named in the 27-man squad announced this morning by coach Chris Hughton and Otto Addo.
Gyan is among the three uncapped players listed on the squad and he is likely to play from the start on Friday.
Gyan broke into Roma’s first-team squad this season and has been impressive for the Jose Mourinho’s side.
The has played 22 games, and a total of 1017 minutes— scoring 8 goals in the process.
Gyan announced himself to the Gillarossi faithful against Cagliari when he came off the bench to scored a brace and guide the team to a 2-0 win.
One of the goals was a curler from the 25 yards and was voted as the best goal scored by a Giallorosi player last year.
