Napoli manager Luciano Spalletti is delighted with  the works of Victor Osimhen, but pinpoints where the Nigerian forward needs to improve on.

Osimhen scored two beautiful goals as the Partenopei kept their Scudetto dreams alive with a 2-1 win against Hellas Verona on Sunday.

The Nigerian scored in each half to out Napoli in charge of the tie but Marco Davide Faraoni got one back for Verona.

Osimhen is Napoli’s top scorer in the league and in all competition, but Spalleti inists Osimhen is still a long way off the finished article.

“Osimhen still doesn’t realise the distance from his marker, sometimes he runs towards the ball and has the time and space to control, pick his spot. He doesn’t need to rush.

“He can start a run from midfield, take on four or five defenders by himself with that pace, so he has such potential.” He said.
