Ogunbote confident of positive response from Remo Stars against Katsina United

Remo Stars have not picked a point in their last three games in the Nigeria Professional Football League, after going unbeaten in the first eleven games.

 

The third defeat came in the hand of Lobi Stars of Makurdi Lobi Stars, It was a match they had opportunities to force a valuable point from the but Isah Ali, Yusuf Ibrahim, and Qudus Akanni couldn’t make the chances count.

 

However, the Sky Blues Boys will now be hoping to end the losing streak, when they host Katsina United at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.

 

Coach Gbenga Ogunbote, is still not overly despondent with the turn of events, describing the blip as temporary and expressing confidence that the team would get out of the woods soon.

 

“Its unfortunate we lost the match but I believe we were not supposed to lose considering what we put into this match”,

 

“But we will work on the positives and correct the mistakes noticed against Katsina United, I believe it’s a passing phase and we will come out of it”, he added on a note of optimism.

 

Remo Stars are fourth on the table with 23 points from 14 matches.
