Emmanuel Dennis got the vital goal as Watford ended their terrible run of results in the Premier with a victory over Aston Villa on Saturday.
Dennis who last scored a goal for the Hornets on December 28, 2021 scored a superb header in the 78th minute left to earn Watford a 1-0 win at Villa Park.
The Super Eagles forward headed past Emiliano Martinez in the near post, after he was picked out by Ismaila Sarr.
It was Watford’s first win since they defeated Manchester United 4-1 in November 2021. A dreadful run that saw lost 10 of their last 12 games in all competitions.
