Tunisia assistant coach Kalal Kadri has revealed how he masterminded their famous victory over the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The Carthage Eagles defeated Nigeria’s Super Eagles 1-0 on Sunday and  advanced to the last eight of the 2021 African Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
Youssef Msakni scored the winner for the North Africans in the second half, after his from 25 yards strike beats goalkeeper Maduka Okoye.
Explaining how he managed to clip the wing of Super Eagles, Kadri said:
“Today we came up with tactics to put pressure on the Nigerian wingers because they are very dangerous.”
“And we also know they have difficulties when they lose the ball, so we capitalized on it and we took our chances well.” the assistant coach told the news conference.
Tunisia will now face Burkina Faso in the quarter finals of the competition.
