Nigeria’s Super Eagles have arrived in Garoua, Cameroon ahead of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
The team left the shore of the country on Wednesday night via chartered flight and the journey lasted for almost a hour.
Interim coach Austin Eguavoen led the available 25 players, but they are expecting Odion Ighalo, Venezia’s Tyronne Ebuehi and Paderborn’s Jamiliu Collins to join them in Cameroon.
The tournament will start on the 11th of January 2022, and the Eagles will play their opening game against Egypt two days later.
The Group Will be D encounter will be played at the Roumde Adjia Stadium in Garoua.
The other Group games are against Sudan and Guinea-Bissau fixed for January 15 and January 19 respectively.
