Kenechukwu Agu continued his fine form in the new season as helped Rangers to a 4-0 win over Niger Tornadoes.
After failing to score in previous games, Agu opened his account for the season against the Ikhon Allah Biys.
Agu scored a perfect executed penalty and a sumptuous free kick from 25 yards to lead the Flying Antelopes to victory over their visitors.
Speaking after the game, Agu said, he’s happy to help the team win an important game of football.
He then thanked his manager and teammates for their support during the drought.
“We came prepared for a win in the match and to God be the glory, we got the result we wanted and worked for even when our opponents showed some stuff in the first half.”
“For the goals I scored, it was God’ grace in action and I thank my coaches and teammates for their support.” He concluded.
