Odion Ighalo will accept a transfer to Premier League side Newcastle United, according to reports.
The Sun claimed the 32-year-old is interested in joining the Magpies when the transfer window reopen in January and will will hold talks with his Saudi Arabian side Al Shabab.
The former Manchester United and Watford became a target for Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United, following his good for for Al-Shabab this season.
He has scored 19 goals for Al-Shabab in the Saudi Arabian Professional League this season, since arriving last year January.
Eddie Howe whose side is 19th-placed in the Premier League table is desperate in need of new signings with experience and Ighalo is one them.
Howe has just one win from seven so far but with Newcastle just six points off safety there is a chance to turn things around.
Newcastle’s representatives will discuss the potential moves with the player and his club in the coming days.
